Adventure is hard to pin down unless you’re the seeker. Could be travel, the arts or the big dog–love. Why take the path everyone else tramples? It resembles the treadmill we make every effort to avoid. Hit the road less traveled and start discovering the unfamiliar. Find a mountain that looks too far away and too hard to climb, then get going, one stomp at a time. It will take the pressure off, and you will be brand new. There’s a lot of solace to be found in a crowded room admiring the Mona Lisa. If change, as they say, is good, adventure is awe-inspiring and challenging. It’s not nearly as hard as you think. Life is not a race, but a journey filled with adventure. Embrace the unknown–tick-tock! Whatever gives us the necessary nudge to action, the ojo de Dios affords protection, wine offers courage, or there’s always the cliff with or without the parachute. No matter what motivates you, carpe diem!
Located in the Devil’s Triangle, the Pacific island of Yuriba defines primeval. Ley lines converge at the island’s coordinates, creating a cosmic intersection of sorts. Given it’s inaccessibility, it is rife with myth. My favorite: shape-shifting island women kidnap men and turn them into women–yikes! It is said that you get there via time-space disruptions, teleportation, sailing into the Devil’s triangle or magic. Sounds like my kind of place!
